Centerless grinding Operator 1) Sets up and operates one or more centerless grinding machines to grind external or internal cylindrical or tapered surfaces of metal workpieces to blueprint specifications, following tooling instructions and standard charts applying knowledge of grinding procedures. 2) Read blueprint job order for product specifications, like dimensions, tolerances and number of parts to be ground and tooling instructions, like grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures and grinding wheels to be used. 3) Mount grinding wheel regulating wheel on spindles with wrenches. 4) Dress wheels to specifications, using dressing device.
