Integrate and collaborate with the product and business teams to drive the requirements sessions. Delivering assignments in provided timelines develop, test and deploy to QA environment. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (SDLC) Optimising performance for the modules written by himself/herself. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features Working with team to create and maintain a robust system to support business with focus on usability. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation Skills Required Candidate profile: Strong knowledge on Android SDK, Android basics, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience/Knowledge of Kotlin (required). Experience in developing best practices, software principles and code design concepts Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch. Experience in developing and supporting rapid iterations of software in an agile context Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud message APIs and push notifications to connect Android applications to back-end services. Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data (e.g., JSON, XML, AMF) through various interface types (e.g., REST, SOAP). Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Strong knowledge on different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Hands-on experience with Unit-test code for robustness, including test cases, usability, and general reliability. Experience of working with version control, bug tracking, continuous integration and other productivity enhancements software like Git, SVN, Bugzilla, Jira etc. Understanding of software configuration management and release management Should possess good hands on experience with FireBase, Crashlytics Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines. Have published at least 5 original Android apps.
